Issues that can arise with the water coolers: Cold side not working, this means that the cooler could be freezing up, you can try to troubleshoot it, as we will have you try if we cannot get to you right away. The cooler forms an “ice ring” in it this helps with keeping the water in the cooler around or below 38 degrees… this can sometimes freeze up.
We recommend:
- make sure the cooler is not snug tight to a wall, that it has breathing room,
- make sure, primarily in the wintertime, the water cooler is not next to a door as the cold outside temps could help freeze up the cooler quicker.
- we will have you unplug the cooler and turn the temperature down, on the back of the cooler there is a screw that says COOLER with an arrow, we would have you turn the screw a ¼ of a turn in the opposite direction turning the temperature down on the water, then after about a half hour, plugging the water cooler back in to see if these fixes help.
